Many of us know about the vast amount of sites aimed at walkers and runners which map their routes, but all these sites are designed with a fitness element in mind. MyWalk on the other hand is aimed at walkers on a leisurely basis, providing the opportunity for walkers to share photos taken during a walk along with their thoughts and comments, rather than the usual pace and heart rate stuff which has no relevance to the leisurely walker!

By allowing users easy access to information on routes uploaded by other walkers, MyWalk aims to motivate walkers into trying new routes which they may have found daunting in the past due to a lack of knowledge of the route. By sharing routes, walkers will not only be able to keep track of their own activity, but also establish their presence within the walking community, enabling them to share their knowledge and discuss their activity with other walkers.
